Catalog work

Event taxonomy cleanup

Collapse duplicates, retire dead names, and leave one agreed catalogue so checkout_completed and order_success stop competing in the same report.

Who it is for

Teams that have merged two apps, renamed a checkout, or inherited an event list no one will edit. The symptom is familiar: purchase, order_success, and order_placed all appear in board slides as if they were one conversion.

What you receive

A single catalogue with owners, triggers, and a rename map that keeps last year’s series readable. Dead names are marked retired, not silently deleted. Wei Liang Tan writes the map; Amina Rashid checks that finance-facing reports still have a path from old name to new name.

Included and excluded

Included: duplicate detection across iOS, Android, and web; a proposed object-action naming convention if you do not already have one; a retirement list; a findings workshop. Excluded: changing the instrumentation in the app, migrating a warehouse, and training a new analyst beyond the workshop. A handover session can follow.

Duration and place

Three to five weeks, remote, with an optional afternoon in Seremban if both engineering and analytics can sit in one room. Starting from RM 9,400, quoted against catalogue size.
