Data controller
Parser Canvas Base is the controller for personal data collected through parsercanvasbase.digital and through email or telephone enquiries. The office is Tingkat 1, Jalan Tun Dr Ismail,Seremban,Negeri Sembilan,70200,Malaysia. Contact info@parsercanvasbase.digital or +6067614510.
What we collect
From the enquiry form: name, work email, selected engagement, optional catalogue size, and the message you write. From email or telephone: whatever you choose to send. From a paid engagement: event exports and parser rules you supply, plus names and roles of people who join the findings call. From the site: the cookie preference described on the cookie notice, and if you accept analytics cookies, page paths and approximate region.
Why we collect it
To reply to enquiries, to quote and perform parser event validation or related work, to send findings and invoices, and — only if you accept analytics cookies — to see which pages are read. We do not sell lists of enquirers. We do not use samples to train a public model.
Legal bases
Pre-contract steps and performance of a contract for enquiry and engagement data. Legitimate interests in keeping a minimal record of professional correspondence. Consent for non-essential cookies. Where the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) applies, we process in line with that Act.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are kept up to twelve months in case you resume the conversation. Engagement files follow the confirmation: working copies of exports are deleted or returned after delivery unless a longer hold is agreed in writing for a follow-on cleanup. Invoices and required accounting records are kept for the period Malaysian tax rules require. Cookie preference is stored in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, and deletion where we do not need to keep a record. You may withdraw cookie consent by clearing the stored preference and using Reject on the banner, or by writing to us. You may complain to the relevant Malaysian authority concerned with personal data. These rights may be limited where we must keep invoices or defend a claim.
Event samples
You should strip identifiers that are not required for product analytics before sending a file. If a sample still contains names, telephone numbers, or precise locations of end users, we will pause and ask you to resend a narrower export. We treat the file as confidential client material.
Processors and international transfers
Email and file transfer may pass through providers whose servers are outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we use suppliers who offer a written confidentiality commitment. Findings calls may use a conferencing vendor. We do not transfer samples to a subcontractor for “extra analysis” without naming that party in the confirmation.
Children
The site is aimed at professional analytics and product staff. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
